Press Release: Successful demonstration of Automotive trials

The pilot trials for Cyber-Physical Systems of Systems (CPSoS) demonstrations for the Automotive Pillar took place during 13-14 of December, in the premises of project partner and Automotive Pillar leader Panasonic Automotive (PASEU), at Frankfurt, Germany.
The demonstration trials have been executed successfully and their outcomes have been presented to all consortium partners. PASEU hosted the trials, with the support of technical partners from ISI Athena, i2CAT, ATOS, CATALINK, and ROBOTEC. The Automotive Use Case is focused on connected and autonomous L3-L4 vehicles. The use cases demonstrated consists of human in the loop control, cybersecurity issues, and cooperative awareness.
During the Automotive trial, scenarios related to occupancy grid mapping for landmarks detection and autonomous navigation, vehicle self localisation, vehicle cooperative localisation with static agents, as well as driver state monitoring, have been successfully demonstrated.
